Soul Shaping Moment 18- Winding Down

It’s been a long day. In fact, feels like a month long to me!! But we are finally at the end of this series. It’s time to wrap it up. Bring some closure to each soul. End the day strong. Put a period at the end of our proverbial sentence.

A good living story winds us down and closes our day as a family. We gather in the den for whatever book we are reading at the time and spread out to listen to the reader.

Our days have a rhythm that is familiar…

A rhythm that brings comfort…

Familiarity…

Security…to the children…

They are loved. My husband and I are deliberate about our time with the children because these kids are tomorrow’s adults. These kids will raise our grandchildren. These kids will live on the earth when we are long gone.

My husband and I hope and pray that Soul Shaping One Moment at a Time (A day in the life of our family)has encouraged you to be thoughtful and deliberate with your kids in the daily-ness of life. It's not always easy, but it's worth all the effort.

Time to tuck the kids into bed...Good night.
